As wine begins to overtake beer as the most popular
alcoholic drink in the United States, more and more beginning wine
drinkers ( and
even some experienced wine purchasers) face the sometimes difficult
decision of picking the right wines to serve with tonight’s menu. As we
all know the old red with red meat and white with everything else works
to a certain point but has misled more than a few consumers.
Having a wine overpowered by your dinner not only
ruins that meal but can deter a correct selection at your next feast. |
| To help solve this problem Doc Wine Selection introduces our new
line: Wine for Food. The eight wines in the Wine for Food line were
selected from several hundred wines from around the world by a panel
comprised of experts as well as everyday consumers. We wanted wines that
would please the palette of the experienced wine drinker as well as
people who were just starting their wine experience. Not too dry, not too
sweet, we think the wines we have chosen will delight each person who
pops the cork on one of our wines. |
